Our schools provide a safe, caring, and engaging learning environment where every child is supported to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We look forward to partnering with families as students begin their educational journey in our community.

Registration is now open for new students, including Transitional Kindergarten (TK), Kindergarten, and students transferring into the district. We encourage families to register early to ensure a smooth and successful start to the school year.

Enrollment Information

LBSD offers enrollment options to eligible students based on age priority and availability of space. Students living within the school district boundary will be given priority enrollment.

If you reside outside of the LBSD attendance area, you must first complete an interdistrict transfer with your residence school district.

Required Documents for Registration

1. Proof of Residency (Required for students living within district boundaries)
Please provide three (3) proofs of residency. Acceptable documents include:

  • Current property tax bill, lease, or lease renewal

  • Current utility bill with name and address

  • Home utility bills

  • Automobile registration or insurance card

  • Bank or financial institution records

  • Mail from a government agency (local, state, or federal)

All documents must be dated within 30 days of submission.

2. Proof of Student’s Date of Birth

  • Birth certificate, passport, baptismal record, or other official document showing date of birth

3. Updated Immunization Record

  • Tuberculosis (TB) clearance

  • Immunization card

4. Previous School Records (if applicable)

  • Transfer card

  • Report card

  • Letter from previous school confirming attendance and grade level

  • Test scores

  • Individualized Education Program (IEP)

5. Proof of Custody (if applicable)
