Luther Burbank students are beginning the school year with a positive attendance trend. During the first three days of school, overall attendance increased from 92.35% on opening day to 96.81% by Friday—an improvement of 4.46 percentage points.
Our highest grade-level attendance averages were:
8th Grade: 99.22%
7th Grade: 98.61%
TK: 98.33%
TK and 8th Grade also reached 100% attendance on multiple days. Congratulations to these students and families!
Regular, on-time attendance gives students more opportunities to learn, build relationships, and participate fully in school. Families can help maintain this strong start by ensuring students attend every day they are healthy and able to be at school.
Thank you to our students, families, teachers, and staff for helping build a school community where being present matters. Let’s keep the positive momentum going!
