New Technology to Support Student Learning
The District has invested $113,011.96 in new technology to support student learning. The devices have arrived and are being prepared for distribution in the coming days.
The purchase includes:
100 iPads — $47,590: For students in transitional kindergarten through first grade and Special Day Class programs.
120 Chromebooks — $65,421.96: For students in grades 2–8.
These devices replace aging technology and provide reliable access to instructional programs, specialized services, and online assessments. The investment supports LCAP Goal 1, Action 1.3, Digital Devices. The District will continue replacing older devices over the next two years.
Families can help protect this investment. Please remind students to handle devices gently, keep food and drinks away, follow staff instructions for use and storage, and promptly report damage or technical problems to their teacher.
Thank you for helping students care for the tools that support their learning!
