Today, we celebrated our parents’ completion of PIQE’s eight-week Family Engagement Program with a wonderful gathering of graduates, their children, and families. It was a joyful opportunity to recognize their commitment to learning and supporting their children’s success.

By participating in this program, our parent graduates are leading the way and setting a powerful example for their children: learning is a lifelong journey, and education is a family commitment. Through weekly workshops, they strengthened their understanding of school systems, academic expectations, social-emotional development, and ways to support learning at home. They also built connections with one another and developed skills to advocate for their children.

This program supports LCAP Goal 4, Action 4.2, our district’s commitment to providing family learning opportunities that strengthen the home-school connection and increase parent participation in their children’s education.

Thank you to our graduates for investing your time, sharing your experiences, and helping build a stronger Luther Burbank school community. Thank you also to PIQE and the families and staff who supported this journey.

Congratulations, graduates! Your leadership and example make a lasting difference for your children and our school.
