Luther Burbank School District is seeking five parents or guardians of English learners to serve on its combined ELAC/DELAC committee. Members provide input on programs and services that support English learners’ language development and academic success.

Nominate yourself by November 6, 2026, by commenting on the ParentSquare English Learner group nomination post, emailing Mr. Lopez at llopez@lbsdk8.org, or leaving a note for him in the main office. Include your name and interest in serving. Candidates must be parents or guardians of currently enrolled English learners and must not be district employees.

Eligible parents and guardians will receive a ParentSquare ballot to vote November 7–9.

All families are welcome at the first meeting on November 10, 2026, at 8:15 a.m. The five elected members will be announced and will elect their officers. Meeting location will be shared separately.
